Overview

Our research activities at the University of Illinois have been focused on Agricultural Informization, the area of new information tools development for crop field operations to increase the information-handling capacity of farming equipment. Specifically, our research efforts include the following programs: sensors and control systems for site-specific crop management, high-accuracy variable-rate agricultural chemical application systems, remote sensing and data management tools for precision farming.
